I altered the pattern slightly and used Chunky cotton for the main part and Aran cotton for the areola and nipple. I doubled up the aran weight yarn so as to be similar in appearance to the main colour but only used a single thread for the nipple which is done by the I-cord method.
It's the first time I've used circular needles and double pointed needles and I'm rather pleased with the results.
