Bio

I first learned to knit in February 2011.
I was taught it at a club I attend. I took to the craft straight away and haven't looked back since.
Whilst still very much in my early development I am already looking towards learning other new skills such as sewing and crochet.

In recent years I have struggled with mental health problems, namely, depression and anxiety.
It was a club run by a Scottish mental health charity called "Support in Mind Scotland" where I was given the opportunity to learn to knit.

I have found knitting to be very therapeutic, the level of concentration required allows me to escape my problems and gives a focus to my life too.
For the first time in my life I feel I've tapped into a vein of creativity. And it feels great!
