My proudest creation yet.
I just love this Koala bear.
Took 9 days in total to knit and learned a few more techniques along the way, namely, learning to wrap and turn whilst turning the knitting mid row to create curves on the legs.
Again I took this pattern from Knitted Wild Animals by Sarah Keen but I made alterations to the ears. I wasn't happy with the original pattern for the ears so I bought some woolly wool ( Elle Furry Friends). It was quite difficult to knit with as I was knitting blind for the most part but very pleased with the result.

Second Knitted Snowman
Finally finished knitting Snowman No.2.
I managed to knit a carrot nose for this one (found a pattern for a penguin's beak and cast on some extra stitches and then knitted some extra rows to make it longer). Very pleased with the result.
The white wool also contains a thin silky thread. I was hoping this would catch the light and create the impression of ice but doesn't quite work out that way.
