Drawstring Bag

I attended my 2nd workshop at Oh Sew Pretty in Dumfries.
This time the project was to make a drawstring bag.
New techniques learned included zig zag stitch, sewing a channel to accommodate the drawstring ribbon and applying a Ric Rac.

More Cushion Covers

Had a busy weekend making four more cushion covers.
Getting better at it as well as getting quicker too.

First one with donkeys on the front and horses on the rear.

1st attempt at using a Sewing machine

A slight diversion from my usual. I've just attended a class at So Sew Pretty workshop in Dumfries aimed at first time users of a sewing machine.
Two items were made during the evening.

First a pin cushion

and then a cushion cover.
